Transparent Containers in APET ( polyethylene terephthalate) are mainly used for the packaging of foods that need excellent visibility. These are typically fruit, salads, meats, meats, snacks, etc.

Suitable for contact with all types of food.

The APET containers are heat sealable and, together with the COMPAC Heat Sealer Machines and Film Reels, make up the COMPAC SYSTEM.

APET containers can be used for packing food in Modified Atmosphere (MAP).

The operating temperature range is between -40 °C and + 70 °C.

Technical characteristics of the containers:

• have a high transparency;

• have excellent resistance to aggressive chemical agents and organic and inorganic substances (including oils, fats, etc …) and have excellent physiological behavior (odorless, tasteless);

• have a high elasticity which makes them absolutely safe from the risk of breakage during handling or transport;

• stacking helps their sorting and use, even in automatic packaging lines;

• provide a high barrier to food gases;

• are suitable to be used for freezing food up to a minimum temperature of -40 °C.

If collected they can be recycled or incinerated.
